Need to save or open files on your computer?

Follow these instructions to check if folder redirection is enabled

On a PC

  • Once you sign in to the Remote Labs portal, you'll need to download the launcher file for your specific application.
  • Click the file to open a Remote Desktop Connection to Labs. When the RemoteApp screen pops up, click the Show Details button.
  • Make sure that Drives is checked under the section with the heading Allow the remote computer to access the following resources on my computer.
  • This option should be checked by default, but if you're having trouble finding the drives on your computer, it may help to check. Then, you can click the Connect button to start the app.

Find your drive

  • Inside your Remote App, the drives on your computer will appear under This PC when you select File > Open or Save As.
  • Make sure you find the drive labeled with your computer name, and then drill down to your desktop or downloads folder.
  • The initial Desktop, Documents, and Downloads folders in the sidebar area are your Remote Labs folders. These are not the folders on your computer.

It looks like you're trying to access Labs from a Mac.
